Kathleen Goddard set up Goddard Smith in June 2008.

An experienced solicitor Kathleen has worked with Alexander Harris and Mace and Jones.

Kathleen’s experiences are mainly in litigation, but also cover

• Company Formation,
• Ecclesiastical Law,
• Property law and
• Commercial Disputes.

Kathleen’s skills as a lawyer are second to none.

When she’s not practicing law Kathleen fills her free time scuba diving, practicing Karate, (she is a qualified instructor for both of these sports) or dreams of riding a motorbike on open roads
 

Mark has previously practiced law with Hilary Meredith Solicitors and Drummond Miller Solicitors.

Mark joined Kathleen in January 2009, to form the business name as it currently stands

Mark is a talented Lawyer with excellent entrepreneurial skills which make him highly suited to commercial work

Mark is a member of ELA (Employment Lawyers Association)

When not practicing law Mark enjoys going for walks, reading and spending time with his family in Scotland
 

Catherine Asson ILEX

Catherine joined Goddard Smith in April 2009

She is our family law specialist and will deal with

• Divorce cases,
• Parental rights,
• Visitation rights,
• Residency

When not practicing law Catherine likes to spend some quiet moments walking her dog, reading a good book (preferably not Law related), and catching up with friends.
 

Phillip Shuker BA(Law)

Admitted in 1974, Philip spent several years undertaking a wide range of legal work. From 1978 he specialized in

• Civil litigation,
• Personal injury,
• Wills,
• Probate and trusts.

Apart from a brief spell as sole practitioner he spent over nearly 30 years as a partner in 2 city centre based firms, nearly 10 of which involved responsibility for compliance, insurance and other aspects of management: topics on which he has written and lectured.

Philip is a member of APIL  (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

When not practicing law Philip quite literally gets on his bike and enjoys riding along the UK roads.
